I am virutally attending LegalTech New York while my colleagues man (wo-man) the booth. While it’s impossible to replicate the exact experience of a LegalTech, I’m posting some of the most RTd Tweets from the Twitter community that I wanted to share with other non-legal IT, non-Twitterers.
(I just made up about 30 words in that last paragraph. To explain, when someone Tweets another person’s Tweet, it’s called a re-tweet or RT. So I identified some of the most RTd Tweets of the day.)
So here are some of the most re-tweeted Tweets from #ltny Day 2:
@christinemartin I would like to hear about more marketing hijinks at #LTNY? – Is Westlaw still giving out free hot dogs with models in angel costumes?
@adriandayton Who would win in a fight, Lexis or Westlaw? #ltny
@CoffeeNerdedLaw Neither b/c they’re secretly the same company #conspiracytheoy Lexis v. Westlaw #ltny
@mvedelman Cloud computing is “everywhere and nowhere”. #ed2 #ltny
@lsptrainer: RT @GabeAcevedo: Here is a picture of some of the #LegalTech protesters from yesterday. http://tweetphoto.com/10250760 #ltny
@lawyerkm Found Hilton’s wifi signal – offered at the low low price of $100 per day. <sarcasm> Sign me up! </sarcasm> #ltny
@VMaryAbraham: Be sure to involve yr target audience in the planning/design phase. You gain early buy-in and encourage adoption. #e20 #CL2 #ltny
@FakeTomOConnor i’m seeing 2 many iPhones at Legal Tech. Don’t they know that all their data is being hacked. Thats why I use a razor. #LTNY
@adriandayton So which is the afterparty of choice tonight? Nextpoint, Lexis, or others? #ltny
Note: Please don’t judge LegalTech or Twitter by the Tweets of these attendees. Remember, connecting and bonding with colleagues is part of the value of attending a conference, and it sounds like these attendees are accomplishing that.
